Polar Asset Management Partners
Polar AMP is a Toronto-based global asset management whose polar bear identity reflects strength, confidence, and resilience in harsh environments.
I was pleased to contribute to the brand’s development. While the logo was created by other members of the team, I helped translate it into a cohesive brand experience across the website, marketing collateral, and broader brand applications.

The Polar Bear logo is a strong foundation. However, the brand creative platform is based on a numbers of elements that define the look and feel: Typeface, Identity Tab, Colour Palette, Pattern, Imagery.
I got that thinking carried across the pitch decks, fund sheets, direct mail, client events, and thought-leadership content, in both print and digital. The bear, apparently, had a fairly full schedule.
25ᵗʰ Anniversary
For Polar AMP’s 25th anniversary, I wanted to mark the milestone in a way that felt true to the brand, but different in away. I leaned into the polar bear as a symbol of resilience and strength, set against an environment that can be harsh, but also incredibly beautiful.
That contrast helped shape the anniversary identity and gave the 25-year milestone a story that felt a little more meaningful. And yes, I got to design the logo this time!
Website Enhancement
For this website enhancement, I was working with a structure that was already in place, so the goal was really to give it a thoughtful facelift rather than rebuild everything from scratch.
We kept most of the existing architecture intact, added a few new pages, and brought the newly developed brand story into the experience. There were constraints along the way, from the existing WordPress setup and content to a pretty tight turnaround, but we managed to make it all work together in the end.
